You will need an Invitation Form (No. 241011) filled out by your host in Sweden, along with their “Personbevis” (civil registration) and proof of income.
While not strictly required for the application of a ‘C’ visa, it is highly recommended and often requested by immigration officers upon arrival at Dublin Airport.
Most tourist applicants only provide biometrics at VFS. However, the Embassy in Islamabad may request a personal interview in cases where they need to clarify your “Social and Economic ties” to Pakistan.
You can apply up to 6 months before your trip. Given that Sweden expanded its visa services in late 2025, we recommend starting the process at least 2 months early.
