As a student in France, you benefit from one of the most heavily subsidized education systems in the world. The French government covers nearly two-thirds of the actual cost of education for international students at public universities, making high-quality degrees remarkably accessible.
💰 Cost of Living
Living costs in France vary significantly depending on whether you choose the capital or a regional hub. On average, students should budget between €800 and €1,200 per month.
Accommodation: * CROUS (Public Housing): €150 – €450/month (Highly competitive).

🌎 Climate & Language of France
France experiences a varied climate. The north and west have a temperate maritime climate (cool winters, mild summers), while the south enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. The central and eastern regions have more continental influences, including cold winters and occasional snow.
French is the official language. While France has introduced over 1,600 programs taught entirely in English (especially at the Master’s level), learning basic French is highly encouraged. Not only does it help in daily life, but it is often a key requirement for securing part-time jobs and integrating into the local culture.
