Key Documentation for Seamless Visa Applications
While there is no official fixed limit, it is recommended for solo travelers to show a closing balance of at least PKR 1,000,000. For families, a balance of PKR 2,500,000 or more is advisable to demonstrate financial stability.
Yes, valid travel insurance that covers your entire stay in South Korea is a mandatory requirement. It must cover medical emergencies, including COVID-19 related expenses, to be accepted by the Embassy.
For a standard tourist visa, an invitation is not mandatory if you have a confirmed hotel reservation and a solid itinerary. However, an invitation letter can significantly strengthen your case if you are visiting friends or family.
Multiple-entry visas are typically reserved for frequent travelers who have visited South Korea at least twice before, or those who hold high-ranking professional status. Most first-time applicants from Pakistan are granted a Single Entry visa.
Generally, interviews are not required. The decision is made based on the documents you submit at Gerry’s. However, the Embassy reserves the right to call an applicant for a brief interview if they require further clarification on your travel intent.
