Key Documentation for Seamless Visa Applications
While not always mandatory for solo travelers with a detailed hotel booking, an Invitation Letter from a travel agency or a resident in China can significantly strengthen your application and is often requested.
China is very strict regarding photos. They must be recent, 48mm x 33mm in size, with a white background. You must not wear jewelry, glasses, or dark clothing that blends into the background.
Standard processing usually takes 4 to 5 working days. However, China offers “Express” and “Rush” services at the visa center for an additional fee if you need your passport back sooner.
First-time travelers are usually granted a Single Entry Visa. If you have traveled to China previously and can provide proof of your past visas, you may be eligible to apply for a Double or Multiple Entry Visa.
Yes. You must provide a personal bank statement for the last 6 months, duly stamped and signed by your bank. It should show a consistent balance capable of covering your entire stay in China.
